Sponsored Review: Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash & a Giveaway!
Recently I was approached by BlogHer to do a review of Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash. I jumped at the chance because I live in a dry climate and am always slathering on lotion, so I'm always interested in products that will keep my skin hydrated.
Most enticing to me is the more than a jar of moisturizer that is in every bottle of this body wash. The first time I used it I found it to be thick and emollient. A small bit lathered up easily on my bath poof. The product rinsed away clean yet left my skin feeling very smooth. The day I shaved my legs I paid special attention to how this product moisturized. On freshly shaved days, as soon as I dry off, the skin on my legs starts to feel tight, dry, and itchy. When I used the Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash my skin did not feel this way at all. It still felt smooth and soft and moisturized. I wasn't rushing to put on lotion.
Using this body wash felt indulgent. It was like a special treat on my skin, because I wasn't moisturizing as much when I got out of the shower. When I'm stumbling around before dawn to get ready for work this proves to be a time-saver, which is always appreciated. I was so impressed by the moisturizing benefits of this body wash I made up a travel bottle for my six-year-old daughter's bath so she could enjoy it as well. She usually has to be reminded multiple times after her bath to put on lotion, but with this product we didn't even bother, we just let her dry off and go on her merry way. Using this product saves us time in our nightly bath- and bedtime routine, which frees up more time for stories and cuddling, and even a bit more time for me.
I would recommend this product. I like how it felt on my skin, how it helped keep my daughter's young skin moisturized, and how it lathered up so well yet washed away cleanly and left my skin feeling soft and smooth, with little need for lotion. A little goes a long way, so this product is also a good value. It saves time and money, a winning combination.

I simplify my morning beauty routine by really keeping makeup very simple. I only wear blush and lip gloss on any given day, sometimes concealer if my skin needs it, and mascara only on special occasions!

I simplify my routine by using an electric tea maker. I add tea and water and just push a button. It has a little basket that raises and lowers the tea and boils the water according to what strength I've set. After 2.5 minutes the buzzer goes off and I have perfectly brewed tea. It's awesome.
