- Sliced onions
- Hatch green chiles
- Tomatillos, roasted on the grill and then pureed into a sauce
We usually make extra and freeze most of it in smaller portions for easy, yummy meals at a later time.
Behold, the end result, on a small flour tortilla heated on the stove, with fresh cilantro, diced sweet onions, sour cream, and limes...so fresh and tasty.
We have a cupboard full of plates and never manage to have matching ones out at any one time. I guess I should work on this or something. Not pictured is Siena's taco, which she modified by replacing the green chile pork (oh! the travesty!) with corn, making for a corn, cilantro, and onion taco, with cheese, too boot. Strange kid.
these look great, Jacqueline! I will have to try these.
